As the Senior Art Director in charge of the Corporate Identity for Acento Advertising, I approached the partners and proposed to change the very corporate looking walls of our new Santa Monica building with three different styles of wall murals. The accounts side of the building was to be done in wall vinyls as was the main entrance and main conference room. With the creative side of the building however, I wanted to do something more hand drawn. I created some sketches that eventually got approved, painted full size and now adorn the new office.

Red Riding Hood inside the stomach of the wolf. Ink on paper illustration circa 2009. I originally came up with this concept for a T-Shirt design contest and got great feedback. On a Guillermo del Toro signing for his "Strain" novel I ripped it out of my sketchbook and gave it to him. He stood up, and after a great big hug he promised he would frame and hang it in his famed Southern California "Bleak house".
